MIGRATING OUT OF POVERTY –  WEST AFRICA REGIONAL WORKSHOP 21-23 Aout 2019

The Centre for Migration Studies is hosting the West Africa Regional Meeting under the Migrating out of Poverty Research Programme Consortium. Participating Partners are Ghana, Senegal and the Co-ordinating Partners at the University of Sussex. The Regional Meeting focused on four (4) key objectives:

• Present results of MOOP research from the West Africa region
• Analyse and discuss synergies, similarities and differences with stakeholders invited to the workshop
• Encourage exchange between researchers and other stakeholders from the media, policy makers and civil society
• Amplify the voices of the migrants
